Hotel La Casona del Lago is the newest and most luxurious hotel in the area, and is run by the same folks as La Casona de la Isla. Though the hotel isn´t located on Flores proper, it´s right on the shores of Lake Petén Itzá, facing the Island of Flores and has excellent views of the lake and town.
